Hi there, I'm Mandy. I want to welcome you to the best cupcake website ever. Why you might ask? Because I cater to those individuals that have a wheat and/or dairy intolerance/allergy but still have that sweet tooth (like me)!

Here is how it all got started: I have always had a love for cooking and baking growing up. I remember standing on a chair watching my mom bake cookies while "helping" ... my version of helping back then was making sure she put in enough chocolate chips or being the "Official Peterson Household Taste Tester" ... now things are a little different. Before I met my husband and had my Happily Ever After Story come true, my mom started having some food intolerance issues. Seeing her go through the trial and error of what to use as substitutions and which recipes worked but didn't taste the greatest, I always wondered why there wasn't an easy fix.

Fast forward almost 10 years. Ready for the checklist? Now I'm married. We bought a house. I have my own food intolerance (along with my husband and sister). Was laid off in early 2012. Still love to bake. And still wondering why people with food intolerance/allergies have a hard time finding good and safe things to eat. Here comes my husband's idea. "Why not start a business where you bake cupcakes that are wheat free, dairy free and still taste delicious?" ... Bingo.

With my degree in Graphic/Multimedia Design, I immediately got to the drawing board, actually my laptop, and starting to think of a name. Then started creating a logo. Color scheme. Consultation Form. Website. Before you know it ... like magic ... it's up and running!

Yes to cupcakes is ready to start celebrating with you and your loved ones who have food intolerance or allergies. Let's make this a sweeter place to live ... together!


***Now I'm not actually selling my products yet because it is illegal to bake and sell out of your home kitchen in the state of WI (at this point). If you know anyone that lives in WI and is willing to help support small companies trying to start a business like me, please forward this link and have them sign the petition to allow bakers to bake and sell out of their home.
